Intermediate Bead-Weaving Class: “Half Tila Herringbone Bracelet”
January 20 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm$9
“Half Tila Herringbone Bracelet”
Date: Saturday, January 20 | Time: 10:30 – 12:30 | Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Instructor: Sue
Cost: $9 plus materials or you can use your Laura’s Bead Addicts Membership Club Card (This class qualifies for our “first time is free” promotion, so if this is your first time joining us in the beading room, be sure to let us know when you check in on class day and we’ll waive the 9 fee!)
This bracelet is smooth, slinky and very comfortable to wear! The technique is simple — just flat herringbone with half-tila and size 15 seed beads. You can also do a little chunkier version with brick and size 11 seed beads.
We are not sure who is considered the original designer of this bracelet, since it is very commonly seen around the Internet, however we used the YouTube video done by “crystalpan” as our guide. You can view her video by clicking here if you are not able to join our Bead Circle and would like to see how this is made. Attendees of this class will receive a handout that we’ve written to use as a pattern.
Ready for the Next Step in Bead Weaving?
This is the perfect class for you! Intermediate Stitch Workshops will take a stitch that you’ve learned in a beginner workshop and move it up to the next level. There is typically a specific pre-requisite for intermediate workshops, so please be sure to read the details above. These classes are small in size so you’ll get plenty of teacher time. The instructor will have already made the piece so that you can see what is looks like completed.
We ask that you always use supplies from Laura’s Beads when in our beading room. Thank you!
