We will be keeping you posted on our progress and what August will bring…

Intermediate Level:

Bead Weaving Class: “Chenille Lace Necklace”Laura’s Beads Original
Tubular chenille stitch has a wonderfully lacy look and soft feel. In this necklace we’ve tucked sections of 3mm and 4mm beads here and there, to give it an extra sparkle. In this pattern you can choose to add extra sections of the embellishment beads, including even some 6mm size, in the center and wear the necklace on it’s own, or leave a section of plain chenille in the middle and wear a beaded pendant on it.

Bead Weaving Class: “Solitare Necklace” by Deb Roberti
Laura’s Beads carries a gorgeous selection of Gemduo beads and Deb Roberti’s “Solitaire Necklace” is the perfect design to showcase them. One of the necklaces in the photo uses a “backlit” color with an effect reminiscent of stained glass. We have several backlit colors and you’ll love the way they glow and reflect the light. Looking for something less blingy? We also carry an array of other finishes, including matte and picasso.

Multi-Row Right-Angle Weave Workshop: “Birthday Bracelet” by Deb Roberti
The trick to stitching right-angle-weave is to look for the pattern of squares you’re creating as you stitch. Your thread will be moving in a circular pattern as you build your squares, changing direction with each stitch. This basic bracelet, combined with Deborah Roberti’s wonderfully detailed instructions, is a great way to begin learning this sometimes complex stitch.
