New This Week at Laura’s Beads – July 18

It’s been an exciting and busy couple of weeks since we sent our last update! Our new space has been coming along beautifully and we feel confident we’ll be ready for a late August move as we had hoped.  Here’s a little sneak peak:

We also are thrilled to announce that our friend Bernadette has now officially joined the Laura’s Beads family as a regular employee and will be helping you with all your bead needs!

We still have more classes for you to enjoy before we take a short break to move!

If you purchased or plan on purchasing a Laura’s Bead Addicts Membership Club Card that has an expiration date after August 1, we will be extending it for an extra month. This way you can receive the best session rate on the sessions listed below, and when we start offering sessions again at our new location, without worrying about missing out during the weeks we are moving.

Intermediate Level:

Beadwork Magazine Bead Circle: “Eleanor Bracelet” by Melinda Barta
Inspired by the designer’s love for historic costumes and a visit to a Welsh castle once ruled by Queen Eleanor, wife of Edward I, this romantic bracelet features sparkling crystal rivolis, two-hole shaped beads and peyote stitch.

Bead Weaving Class: “Alveoline Bracelet” by Vyolina of Belgium
Create this wide bracelet of undulating stripes with 4mm beads tucked in here and there. This gorgeous design caught our eye when we saw photographs of it floating around Pinterest. The Belgian designer provided free illustrations on her blog that assisted us in creating the bracelet and we have written up an English translation for bead circle participants.
