Fused Glass Workshop
January 31 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
One event on January 31, 2019 at 5:30pm
Create your own Fused Glass pieces!
Every winter we are very excited to have Beth Cox, a glass expert from Michigan, visit our shop with all her supplies and creativity. She will begin by briefly going over the different types of glass you’ll be using, design techniques and the process of fusing, then you’ll have the remainder of this 2-hour session to simply play. Using pieces of stained glass, canes, millefiori, chips, frit and more, you’ll cut, stack and glue to create custom pendants, pins, earrings, cabochons or even windchime dangles! The assembled pieces are kiln fired off-site and then returned to us within 2 weeks of class.
Important Note for Students who have taken this class previously: Like last year, we will again split the group so that you can begin working on your pieces immediately while the new students are given the orientation.
