Learn how to knot pearls in the traditional way using silk cording and a special bent-nose tweezer tool. Initially you’ll be working with our beautiful selection of glass pearls, mixing in crystals here and there for sparkle. Once you learn the technique you’ll have the ability to restring real vintage pearls you might already have at home and repair those family heirlooms!

New to Beading?
This class is designed for both beginner and intermediate students; no previous experience is required, though some bead-weaving experience is very helpful. The class will be small in size so you’ll get plenty of teacher time. You’ll begin to familiarize yourself with working with a variety of beads and tools. The instructor will have already made pieces so that you can see what they look like completed.
We ask that you always use supplies from Laura’s Beads when in our beading room, however you’re welcome to bring along tools if you already have them. Thank you!
